Walking cattle to the fair etc, how did they manage?

Remember you'd have a fleet of men working a relatively small farm.
Every house would have a road gate to close and far less traffic to contend with.

was there yesterday with the old lad. the mother hunted us out of the house for a few hours pretty much. was a grand day for it. sods looked to have dried up well when we turned up.

Soya brought in this week. Crane broke down yesterday so that set us back a bit. Usually given a t7.200 but this week I'm given a 235 and by God she's a lovely bus. Sidewinder as well. More weight and power which is a help when theres a 22ft trailer behind ya with silage sides on full to the top. Yesterday morning I hopped into the 200 that was parked there. I look over and see 235 written in the other tractor. Got out and beelined for it
