Agfood Login Not Working — Troubleshooting Tips (Browser, Cache & Access Issues)

Hi all
Can’t seem to log into agfood on the laptop the last few days, says internet connection may be the problem, but internet is working fine on any other site.
I can log on with the phone but agfood doesn’t really work right on the phone, especially the BISS portal.
Anyone have any ideas?
Need to log on asap to print off a document.

Yes it works fine on the phone, but the functionality of the biss portal is poor.
Same problem when logging in with edge, it’s a problem with the laptop, just wondering what it could be?
Laptop is only a year old,
 
Try turning off your router. Waiting a few minutes and turning back on again.

Just been on myself there and the site is working ok.

Sorry for going off topic @Cjmc but I couldn’t miss the opportunity.
I wouldn’t be great at IT, and was advised over the phone one day by an IT person to clear the cache and cookies. I replied “ I am shit hot at clearing cash, just show me a new machine and I will buy it, I’m pretty good at clearing cookies too, especially chocolate chip but what will that do for my computer?”
Took them a while to realise what I was saying.

try a different browser
 
When using my phone on Agfood, I click to view a correspondence message and a box appears with "open" I click it and nothing opens up, using Chrome. Works fine on Laptop. How do I open a message on my phone?
 
I had same problem recently my username which is stored in my phone won't be accepted till I put it in manually and then it opened no problem, strange one it's was
 
To my annoyance they have changed the login page, it would have been nice if they had notified of the changes before throwing up a different page, before had 3 inputs, now has 2 which then leads to the 3rd.

I seen announcements on this months back? I think the idea was to make it more obvious which part of the login you may have gotten wrong on a failed login.

But the layout of the site still sucks

I said that the layout of the site was really bad to one of their staff at a help day, she was struggling to find something on it and agreed with me how bad it was. If they won't improve it for their own staff, they're hardly going to amend it for the rest of us

Maybe I missed the announcement but it should show as correspondence if it was given, also they have a note about more changes to login coming the 2nd September that you will only find out about if you go to login.

I bet the department staff are sent on courses on how to navigate the agfood site and find all the hidden sub headings in places you would never think of looking, where as us farmers have to try and figure it out ourselves in the evenings after work. It can be hard work.
 
Have many of ye done away with blue cards and use “online registration only” through agfood. Im tempted to but it says you have to always have a herd profile at hand and availability to a printer, which I don’t in the house on the farm.

I could print anything they like within 30 mins alright.

How about a standalone Wi-Fi printer and just print from ur phone?
 
Yeah phone no issue, or just have laptop there but didn’t know you could get stand alone printers that don’t use wifi.

Well like I have never had any success printing through cables or usb etc, but Bluetooth/wifi usually no problem.
 
They had an app for registering calves which was very handy. Then for no reason it was stopped. Had to register the last few calves through agfood which is a pain in the hoop.

How can you do away with blue cards? What happens when you want to sell animals?

Calf-Reg app was brilliant but was stopped.
 
Can’t do away with blue cards (although I think they will disappear in the future). Going online gets rid of using white cards to register births. Also by going into AIMS in agfood and selecting the online register as your official herd book you no longer have to keep the blue book(animal register). Really cuts down on the chances of an issue with register if you have an inspection
