They'll do well to make 2k at present here around.
Neighbour had Hex bullocks in ennis yesterday 640kg, 2100. Not classy types but square enough all the same. I thought it very slack for them.

I'd be inclined to agree but don't like talking things down either.
One thing that has amazed me is how small the gap is now between weanlings and year and a halves

No but it’s honesty I want. No point me asking and not getting the truth. I had 1850 in my head. I’m in no rush at the moment with them and they are putting on about 1.7 a day for the last 24 days so il keep them going. On about 4kilo of buffalo nuts and barley. Happy enough to keep them going.

They are lovely stock, butty but square and 530kg is great weight. You seem to have a nice pick of grass? Could you hold onto them over winter and finish them yourself? Be worth serious money next spring.
Are you selling in yard?
 
They would be tight finished next sping unless they get a ton of meal or more.
Be great cattle this time next year.
Them dairy blues carry weight but hard finished without age

No I don’t have the room for them in the sheds this year and I’ve no interest in outwintering anything.
Ya I’ve decent grass alright. They have another field of good after grass to go to next.
As I said I’m in no rush. Prefer to sell in the yard alright. Might put them on donedeal next week.
