Doesn’t allow the engine to cool down either.
Was in a yard loading pigs, waiting on the owners and he appeared in a jd 7810 pulling a big lump of a blower trailer up a steep hill, tractor on it’s knees, into the yard and knocked her off straight away, you could hear her sizzling and I was maybe 60 feet away and then she started putting the water out of the radiator….not a clue or a care 🤬

How did you get on after, sourcing a turbo?
Have you tried Conaty or Ned Murphy tractor parts?
Those turbos would be a purchased part by Massey Ferguson, more than likely made by Garrett.
If you aren't caught for time and can locate a part number for the turbo, you stand a good chance of getting a genuine part from the original manufacturer, considerably cheaper than going through the main dealer.

I have rang murphys and they quoted me the same price that the dealership quoted.
I also rang conaty and before he left the phone down he said that there was two different garrett turbos for that tractor so I got no price from him.
I could do with the tractor working but I can manage away without it. Once things quieten down a bit I will get back to it.

Clifford Tractor Parts in BallymacElligott, County Kerry could well be worth a call too.
A lot of mechanics that I would know, get all their parts from Cliffords.
My combine man got a new turbo from them last year, for his New Holland 7740 engined Ford 6610 last year.
I am nearly certain it came in a CNH box.
I must ask him again about it.
 
There is a turbo crowd in behind the Redcow that will supply what you want if you can give them the manufacturer and model number I have gotten a few from them.
 
Had a turbo reconditioned back in Nov 21 with turbo express in termonfeckin, very good service, that was rebuilt due failure on the exhaust side as the VNT mechanism seized due carbon build up. He rebuilt it, refreshed the actuator and flow tested it which is a very important part of rebuilds that don’t always get done. 1 year warranty and was perfect there after. Removed and fitted it myself and fresh oil change prior to fitting….€550
