SATURDAY

A weak ridge of high pressure bringing a fair start to the morning on Saturday for many. A few showers in southwest England, spreading east through southern England as cloud increases through the morning and into the afternoon. An increasing threat of low cloud, mist and some fog patches in the English Channel and around southwest coasts and hills.
Becoming cloudier in the west with rain and drizzle in Ireland in the morning, quickly reaching western parts of Wales, western Scotland and western England. Cloud lowering over the western slopes and coasts as well.
Rain is likely to be affecting much of western Scotland, western England and Wales in the evening, generally light with lots of low cloud and mist. Staying fair in the east, although with increasing cloud here.
Winds mainly W 10-14kt (F3-F4) overall.
SUNDAY
=======
A broad warm sector (between the warm and cold front) across the British Isles on Sunday. Western coasts and hills will have low cloud, mist and some fog. Southern coasts and the English Channel may be affected by the low cloud at times as well.
More persistent rain cloud to western Scotland with the area of low pressure near by. A further band of cloud and periods of rain passing through Ireland, associated with the cold front, during the morning.
Elsewhere away from the west and south will be drier and brighter, some sunny spells developing.
Winds W-SW 15-20kt (F4-F5) but SW 25-30kt (F6-F7) over western coasts and hills.
