Some stretch! Was 3km from one end to the other. I mowed it a few times for them for another guy as trailed mowers couldnt fit out through the gates in the place. and the trucks used to draw it back to Carlow then after it was baled.
Am I right in thinking the railway ran through it? The man at the helm had notions of building a port there to bring in ship loads of cement and export stone.

North of Wicklow town??? No way would they allow a port there because some rare bird winters there. They had sixty acres of port land in Swansea ….? The Crowe went over there and fenced it in. He had to come back because the wrong stuff was delivered and no way would they have survived five days in a Hotel while they waited on the delivery.

Yeah you had to cross the railway onto it, the railway gates were the main issue for width but I think a bridge before that was also too narrow

Yeah north of the town, long narrow strip. A point at each end you could barely swing around with out shunting and 3km in length. It was comical mowing it, so many walking and cycling, I passed one lad 3 times, first time he was cycling, second time he was pulling grass out of the chain and the third time he was walking back down carrying the back of the bike with a heap of grass in the chain(he had cleared it the first time) idiot couldn’t work out to cycle between the swarths

The rare bird didn't stop you know who trying.
I'm all too familiar with the the cement plant and land in Swansea, the Crow didn't do the fencing on his own  February/March 2005

So our 6910s was getting a little tired looking and as I can never see it leaving I decided to send it for a refurb . Was only meant to be a freshen up but when the man that was doing it started there was no stopping him !!! To be honest it ended up being more than I wanted to do but when you see the level of detail he went to it was worth it and will stand to it in time.

Saw a video of it this morning and thought it was yours. Looks absolutely mint now. One that’s worth it as it’s a definite future classic

That's a super job, very hard to get anyone to do that kind of work properly. I'm sure it's a big bill but that sort of a tractor is always worth a lot of money. Well ware.
Did the one outfit do the mechanical and the body work ?

That’s a savage job. You’ll stick it up on DoneDeal now for an eye watering sum. We can come on here and complain about how overpriced it is!!!
The only reason I might do that is to make myself fell better 🤣🤣👍👍👍

Super job, I think thats the kind of job you could see more and more demand for, but availability of good lads to do it could be an issue.
The man that did it is one of kind in fairness and I was talking to the owner of the business and he said when he is gone that’s it .

Didn’t need much mechanical work, it is very sound that way, just pipes, seals and any issues they saw they did.
