What are you up to in the workshop?

Where is the best place to buy that exact spec on line? My son bought one recently in a shop locally and I find it very handy but would like to see if it could be got any cheaper.

I got for 190€ i think now i could be way off in mitchels in tullamore

Slight bit of corrosion on the bracket for the lights, the junction box and a 7 pin socket were mounted on a plate on top, heard something tipping the other day and just as I went to stop the PTO there was a bang and the plate sailed off across the field. Modifications required

I was informed this wet morning by the calf feeding department (the kids) that the novelty of dragging two buckets of hot water 100 meters by hand had started to wear out. I told them that it was merely a character building exercise and the water wasn't hot enough to do any damage etc etc. A strike was threatened so I asked what their budget was to improve transport facilities. A large Kitkat was offered and no monetary spending was available yet. So the engineering department got prepared for another scrapheap challenge...

Old modified bike got fished (literally) from the junk pile and the MF30 pile got raided also.

Angle grinder used to hack off pedals, handle bars and any sticking out bits...

Then a few support bars welded into the base and a towing/steering handle added...

Found an old strawberry crate and tek screwed it down which will hold two buckets or a sack of calf milk powder/nuts and the job is completed in an hour and most importantly within budget.

You could also junk the chain and sprockets to reduce weight.

Getting good at this. Time for tay .

its a great buzz when it moves!!

How come your taking them out?
The bushings are nearly worn through and the pins are worn as well . There was movement on the ends of the rams and the one on the tilt of the euro hitch had stopped taking grease . No damage done to the loader .

Whats your method

I use the hydraulic Jack on one end of the pin and a M30 treaded bar screws into the other end of the pin and I pump the Jack and tighten the treaded bar with the windy gun . I could hire a hollow ram pullers like towbars but that would commit me to a timeline for doing the work. The first pin needed heat but the two on the ram came out handy.
Remains of the bushing . If it was left much longer damage would have been done.

Have an oil leak on 8340 after supposed genius who rebuilt the box. Anyone have any idea the problem as is as hes not standing over his work.
Is it leaking from behind the plate? Hard to tell in the photo, there are 4or 5 o-rings behind the plate for each pipe going to the distributor. It is possible one of these got misaligned during assembly

Was assuming it was one of them. Just want know if anything else could be leaking around here. Was going order a complete seal and gasket set for this in morning. Oil seems to be leaking out around pins.
