Today was a few firsts…

Last time I was in this field last year the mower spat the gearbox out, first bit of mowing since it was fixed.

First bit of mowing the Claas has done with the mounted since last June, wrecked the cross shaft last time so first with new cross shaft fitted. BA212ADF-6DFC-473A-A2C2-D61B2F704052.jpeg

Any issue`s with the camera watching the net/ plastic going on to the bale . They have it moved on the new one that landed here to outside the door looking at where the chamber open`s a bit when the bale is made . You can see feck all with it there i think . Reason they gave was dust blocking the camera .

I bought this last month at my neighbours dispersal sale, they bought it new in 1966,it was the main tractor and it ran a jf side mounted forager for years, mechanical it’s spot on,I’ve pumped 250k gallons of slurry into the tanker with it and the only issue I had was the oily dust on the manifold setting on fire.

That looks lovely. Original block too and the remains of the original seat.

Converted to an alternator though!

Took the mowers off as I've no more to cut for the weekend.
Bit of a change of roles here this year I think.
I'll do less of the baling and do more of the drawing.

Fitted some loader brackets to the 6480 but a different multi doc came with the kit so I may have to change over the t7550

Picked up a new baler today 1000 speed camless with the new pickup.

IMG-20220514-WA0016.jpg

Also collected a new rake.
Stuck with pottinger again I'd be extremely slow to go to another brand of rake.
The case bonnet was destroyed with stone chips.
It was also a totally different color to the rest of it so gave it a lick of paint and waiting for some decals.
There some tractor I must say crazy power in them for a little 4 pot.
Absolutely love driving it.

Had the 7550 mowing.
She needs a whiff of the magic spanner.
I think there 208?
The old one must have been a good 240

The Q6M is a fair brute of a loader, looks an awful lot heavier than the Q5M here
