Dating site

I was on Tinder a while back. Have to say it was brilliant fun, had lots of dates but never had a date with an Irish girl they were all foreigners.

Jayses I wouldn't know anything about dateing sites, I'm waiting on the dance in the parish hall to start back up of a Friday night, surely find a good honest woman to make an honest man of me there!!
Met my mrs at our local village hall, feck I was so leathered I could hardly stand.😲

The only people I know who’ve met on-line aren’t together anymore, you simply can’t beat getting out and meeting face to face,I know meeting is hard for some you just have to try, nobody is going to do it for you.

First night my other half appeared out with me in a local bar , there was a few about but the local doctor who i may add is very good and as it was his weekend off was enjoying himself.he lives just down wind of us and is usually the first victim of farm smells but he walks up introduces himself and asks her did I get her at the mart or the farmers journal.needless to say it went down like a lead balloon, but anyone that knows him he's likely to say anything

I know a few couples together and married out of tinder and the likes. Going well so far anyway.
Getting out and socialising is the preferred for most, myself included, but online suits some folk and is just another way of casting the net for alot of others, especially in the current climate.

I met my wife at a house party and forgot to get her phone number so took a bit of tracking down to invite on our first date which was Local rugby club dinner dance. The rest is history. Married close on 20 years now.

How did others meet there better halves which might be a help to those still searching........

Met my wife in the pub wasn’t heading out my mate said we go for a couple of quite pints, i went to the toilet and when I came back my wife was sitting on my seat that was 11 years ago and married 8. She’s a townie was never on a farm before she met me and thought a John Deere was the only tractor you could get.

Met my Mrs. at a singles party in Cork organised by the late Gerry Ryan and Brenda O'Donoghue, I am 80km from Cork and my wifes place is 15km away but never met her face to face 'till that night, she was working for Goal in Sudan and was due to go back there a week later for a year but for some reason we kept in touch and as they say the rest is history, 23 yrs married this year.

Not married or anything like that but with the same one 6 years now, met her when a mutual friend brought her into my apartment at the time which I couldn’t lock the door of. they were drinking all night and I was in bed asleep. She’s from a big town and when she heard I was a farmer she shown me her cousins new cubicle shed for cows (Pretending it was hers at the time) she insisted she would never go out with a farmer. I told her I’d show her how to drive a massey if she left me to sleep. Just looked through phone and I still have the snap I was sending to the lads from home rising them that I met a one with a big shed 🤣🤣

Tis one thing still being with her but it's quiet an achievement to have the same phone for 6 years 😂💪

25 years married next month, covid has got me out of going away.😉
Ok who told the Mrs on the agmatters forum? 🤔
You ll have to mark it some way. A few options. New tractor, classic car etc. . Nothing less than 100k will do for 25 years
I’ve convinced her we need a new cattle container plus wagon, also I’ve been showing her pictures of nice broughan dump trailers this morning.😍5ABCCB02-6A19-4EF1-8C6C-8302D03E5E29.jpeg
I’ll let her chose the colour.😁
