Seen for sale...

Missed those bits I have to be honest but I did only give it a glance. Realistically fully running one would be what 30+ in current climate
I had this for sale and very few calls at 30 plus.
Its local to me now and pulling a 20 tonne dump trailer every day.
But I was absolutely shocked that the phone was so quiet. So much so that it made me wonder have tms had there day ? Id rate them a really good tractor.

Lift control panel needed, manifold studs missing, could be broken in the cyl head, could have a dropped valve hence non runner..needs tyres.€€€€
And there sheared in flush with the head and that means shearing the rest of them to take them off.
Couple of hours with the welder and the parish priest throwing holy water up on it hoping the job doesn't go south

Or is it just the money is gone very tight and/or buyers struggling to buy tractors other than where finance provided too???

I think money is gone tight.
Personally speaking since I started I haven't seen money so tight.
The price of parts is gone absolutely eye watering.
Put that with the cost of fuel and living id hate to be a contractor trying to pay for a heap of machinery and have a family to feed.

I've a friend would do a share of 10-25 year old NH stuff and he says there's very little movement since Christmas. Things were motoring away until then but that they have really slowed since.

Said it's not just him either, he'd always have a hundred odd saved ads on donedeal as a way of keeping an eye on the market and he says there's very little of his type of tractor moving anywhere the last few months

I'd say the same things re donedeal.ie, I'd save any ad that might interest me, could be a tractor or machine I have that I'm trying to see the value or something I'm planning to buy in the future to see what kind of demand there is, things that normally wouldn't last anytime are on it for weeks/months, same as a few lads I know trying to sell nice gear privately because the trade in price isn't good enough. Hennessy's auction reported a slower trade at last months auction too, confidence in buying is low at the moment.

Reading on tff there definitely seems to be a slowdown in the UK anyway.
Few dealers gone under. KTwo in administration as well.
Offers improving on new machines. Has to be hitting used trade as well.

Somewhat expected after two tough years financially in farming coupled with inflation gone through the roof.

The government says inflation is ok. Surely you believe them 🙄

Nice looking low hr. 6480
No front suspension and tyres not hectic would be minor drawbacks.

On that note there's a bearing in here it's the ajatator on a rauch spreader.
Rauch don't sell the bearing separate and want 490 plus vat for the whole unit.
490 plus vat for a ajatator for a spreader.
You'd wonder are we going backwards of forwards at times

I've gone and bought a set of measuring calipers for this very reason.
99% of bearings are going to be available online if you know what measurements to put in.

I think manufacturers are still riding on years of crap rural internet meaning that farmers would just call up and order parts.

Of course they are
Cant

Got caught out the same a year or 2 back as was about to drop in first fill but ran it up to see everything was ok but one agitator was siezed. Sent dad off for it while I stripped everything down had it all out and was separating the bearing when he arrived back with the big box

The trouble with them is that it’s a one way or ratcheting bearing so not necessarily going to be an off the shelf job I’ve been meaning to do a bit of a search to see if I can find it as no doubt the other will go sometime soon

Ordered two of them off reliance bearings at 35 euros each

I should clarify I didn’t mean that the bearings weren’t available elsewhere just that they aren’t exactly the type you can walk into anywhere and expect to walk straight out with it unless they are a very big bearing specialist.

I doubt I’d be able to pick them up too handy around here anyways considering I walked into one local parts place the other day with a bearing and an oil seal and the guy didn’t even know what the oil seal was and was only able to get the bearing because I told him the code for it 🙄🙄
