I remember seeing them as a child and started seeing them again two summers ago .Class, I've never seen a woodpecker in the flesh.
before I opened the video, looking at the black bird in the tree I was wondering was it going to be a crow execution video

I would see them the odd time around here. You’ll never get anywhere near them, they are very wary of people.Out looking over the cattle this morning and a pair of geese flew overhead, stayed circling the greater area for maybe 10 minutes, in all my time I have never seen geese about here
Geese, brownish and wings going like the clappers, big as turkeys.Geese or swans?
There are plenty of geese down by the river in the local town. Lovely creatures but they’d ate the shirt off your back.Geese, brownish and wings going like the clappers, big as turkeys.
Used to have them here one time. There are plenty of geese down by the river in the local town. Lovely creatures but they’d ate the shirt off your back.
I suspect they are a bit more forward in town as some people feed them by the river. Did ye raise many?Used to have them here one time.
About 20 for ourselves and a few others for Christmas.I suspect they are a bit more forward in town as some people feed them by the river. Did ye raise many?

I'd agree, normally they are find. What tends to happen with these geese is that they are so used to being fed, they would go after a small child with food in their hand. They actually look a lot more threatening than they actually are? Well ours used to anyways.
Well kids would want to be watched never do to get pecked where one wouldn't want.I'd agree, normally they are find. What tends to happen with these geese is that they are so used to being fed, they would go after a small child with food in their hand.
Spotted a couple here 2 weeks agoSaw the first 2 swallows of the year here this morning.
Later this year, not here yet and they can stay away if they like, got into a shed to nest last year and nothing but twitter and shite out of them, got the opening blocked this year.Saw the first 2 swallows of the year here this morning.
A fine flock you have there, how are they performing?
I'm having trouble weighing them as they keep rising off the scales .....A fine flock you have there, how are they performing?
Pulled into the market in Cahir last week and I said to myself, there is a man selling geese hereThere are plenty of geese down by the river in the local town. Lovely creatures but they’d ate the shirt off your back.
usually operate on their own around here, never seen 3 together
You couldn't be blamed for thinking that, lots of them at the market, they know where their bread is buttered...Pulled into the market in Cahir last week and I said to myself, there is a man selling geese here
