Wild oats and weeds. Our wheat got no herbicide yet. What are you trying to kill
Does Broadway stay cover everything?Broadway Star . We more or less have stopped using Pacifica . It needs temperature and it is hard on the crop.
YesHave you annual meadow grass
Sterile Brome Wild Oats are the main weeds.Does Broadway stay cover everything?
Cheaper?
If you have annual meadow grass then you have no choice but to use Pacifica or alister. 300g/ha is actually great value when you compare it to an autumn herbicide and then turn around and use axial for the wild oats on the spring then. It’s a lot cheaper.
Mix fluroxapyr with the Pacifica and bio power, great job.One weed I find comes through In Pacifica is knotgrass, it’s usually only where the crop is a bit weak. I have put Cameo Max in with it and it still came through.
Look very healthy Cork. Is each variety replicated? Will they receive a standard fungicide programme or remain untreated? An ideal climate for Septoria evaluation.Winter wheat mini plots have established well. The fertility after grass is showing in them. Sown mid October.
All 800 of them are new un-named varieties being tested here purely for Septoria resistance.

If they're being tested for resistance I would imagine no fungicide will be applied.Look very healthy Cork. Is each variety replicated? Will they receive a standard fungicide programme or remain untreated? An ideal climate for Septoria evaluation.
I was surprised how green they were this afternoon. Previous crop was grass and it’s showing.Look very healthy Cork. Is each variety replicated? Will they receive a standard fungicide programme or remain untreated? An ideal climate for Septoria evaluation.
Jesus how will you cope with not putting 4 fungicides on them? I’d collapse...... you’ll still have to drive the sprayer through them 6 or 7 times.I was surprised how green they were this afternoon. Previous crop was grass and it’s showing.
They’ll just get PGR and no fungicide.
I know, it’ll be cold turkey for me. I’ll need sedatives and I plan to spray another crop with 8 fungicides to bring balance back into my world.Jesus how will you cope with not putting 4 fungicides on them? I’d collapse...... you’ll still have to drive the sprayer through them 6 or 7 times.
