Made up a tray to hold a battery on the power washer . There are two batteries because I was trying to work out which battery was holding the charge longest . It will save me having a heart attack pull starting it . It was originally fitted with a small battery but now I can use any battery.

You would want to be walking briskly through the EPIC place anyway!

There are a few pubs (one in the background of one of your photos actually) which do good value food that I frequent now and again but maybe not for a man of your high tastes!!!

I went on that boat with my father in the 1970 s because he heard the east link bridge was going to be built and that would be the end of the ferry that goes back a 1000 years .I had a chat with the skipper whose father was the ferryman and saved the boat and persuaded the Docklands to fund its restoration. Some weeks up to 500 travel on it and some days only 6 or 7 .
When I was a kid we went down the docks to look at ships and a docker gave us a tour of a ship a cattle boat and my father gave him a 10s note which was red in color . We were in the engine room and it was massive.

Finally made it into Dublin Castle that once was the seat of British power in Ireland and was associated with many divisive events in our history . There is a memorial to Guards who died while on duty . Garda Fallon is the first Garda I remember being killed.

I would have had to get a lend of a Burco boiler to make tea for the Boys From the Black Stuff so I feigned an appointment in Dublin to review my investment Portfolio.
I went to the Chester Beatty library which is Basically a collection of oriental manuscripts arranged in various themes .
The exhibit on all the religions was interesting as was the graphic on developments throughout the ages. The boys in New Grange were ahead of the game .

I was up pricing a new yacht. They must have heard how the Wheat yielded but not the price and the depressed straw market. If I could get them to agree to the payments coinciding with the single farm payment it would be doable but straw would have to rise in price as well.

La Touché Hotel getting apartments. It went out of business when Tipcon moved to Tipperary apparently he was their anchor tenant.

Interesting to note that some are priced in Euro and more in Sterling .
You may work out what it will cost to transfer a few million from one of your Swiss Bank accounts
