One of them is off with another sheep already! Don't bother even trying to send 3 out round here, not worth it. Will only do adoptions if the sheep is in perfect shape and lambs match well, mark every adoption with an A, and it's amazing how many end up coming back in, or don't thrive if things aren't perfect. Worse still the ewe figures it out and send the extra one packing!

End up with a lot of pet lambs, bit with milk machine hired in and good rearing they do come to some kind of money, not fantastic but better than a dead lamb!

Found a dead lamb in the field yesterday, turned it over and hey presto it was an adoption, the adoptee, sheep must just have decided she didn't like it and got rid into the cold of the night! had enough milk for both! :crying:

The yearlings looking a bit ragged after the last few weeks.
I will get them in and dose them this week and give them a copper bolus.

They don't look bad at all gone to me  especially as you outwintered them i think

Shot of Albex or similar would crown them before you change them to a new field/paddock.

Have some generic avermectin pouron and generic fasinex left from the winter and that's what they will get this week some of the days, tomorrow if it works out that way.

Dosed and moved

Ah now come on Arthur tell us the truth :tt2: its a goose really isnt it. Self propelled grass would never stand like that:lol::lol::lol:
Now there's an idea for you @JOHNNY BOY , for your additional farm income you could rear geese for the Xmas market, a handy bit of grazing would do and they are light on the land .

Bullocks.
Better stock than I usually buy.

Be interesting to see how they go for you compared to the HE and AA.

The only thing is (as you know), you'll have more money tied up.

We're you in Carnew today so?
